Dear HOED Evaluators/Shoppers

COVID-19 UPDATE – FRIDAY 28 AUGUST 2020

We remain at Level 3 in Auckland and Level 2 for the rest of the country.

The Government will provide an update on Sunday 30 August, confirming a move to Level 2 for Auckland at midnight, to match the rest of the country. It is also possible for Auckland to stay at L3 should there be further COVID breakouts. In the meantime, please stay vigilant and take all necessary precautions when out and about.

In terms of ongoing surveys, audits, and price checks allocated for August, several jobs have either been postponed and rolled to September or cancelled altogether. This is a difficult time for the country and no less for the team at HOED Research, who have been keeping you informed on the status of the various jobs you may have been allocated. We are busy setting up for September and the Allocations team will contact you if there is a requirement in your area.

We rely on you to complete your allocated surveys or audits within the given timeframe and if you have any questions please email allocations@hoed.co.nz

Stay safe and we will share a further update with you next week.

(Nga mihi) Kind regards, The HOED Research Team

Dear HOED Evaluators/Shoppers

COVID-19 UPDATE – MONDAY 17 AUGUST 2020

We remain at Level 3 in Auckland and Level 2 for the rest of the country.

The Government will be providing an update to these levels on Friday 21 August, to take effect on Wednesday 26 August. In the meantime, please stay vigilant and take all necessary precautions when out and about.

In terms of ongoing surveys, audits, and price checks allocated for August, these are to continue as per normal outside of Auckland (rest of the country) at Level 2. For Auckland (Level 3), several jobs have either been placed on hold or rolled to September. If you are completing one of these jobs on behalf of HOED, one of the Allocations team will have been in touch to provide an update. However, if you are still unsure please contact either Beth or Amanda for clarification.

Please do your very best to complete your allocated survey/s within the given timeframe and if you have any other questions please email allocations@hoed.co.nz.

Stay safe and we will share a further update with you after Friday’s announcement.

(Nga mihi) Kind regards, The HOED Research Team

Dear HOED Evaluators/Shoppers

COVID-19 UPDATE – WEDNESDAY 12 AUGUST 2020

Auckland has moved to Level 3 and will be in Lockdown as of midday today (Wed). The Auckland region is defined as Pukekohe in the South and Wellsford in the North. Any planned survey visits or online/telephone work for the next three days must be deferred until next week. There will be a further Government announcement midnight Friday (Saturday morning), on how successful contact tracing has been in shutting down the infected bubble in South Auckland. If successful we might move to Level 2 on Monday. If not successful we will probably remain at Level 3 for a while longer. HOED will provide a further update on Monday morning to clarify the situation.

The rest of New Zealand (outside of the Auckland region) has moved to Level 2 whereby businesses continue to remain open and trade, albeit with the reintroduction of social distancing, possible face masks and limited numbers instore etc. HOED survey visits can still be completed during this time, however please take all necessary precautions. If you are not comfortable doing so, we are happy for you to defer any survey visits until next week. Any online or telephone work can still be completed.

Please get in touch with Beth or Amanda if you have any further concerns or questions, as the office team will continue to work remotely from home. Unfortunately the Main office phone will not be monitored. Please use Text or Email.

Stay safe and we will share a further update with you early Monday morning.

(Nga mihi) Kind regards, Richard
